Zyphon Media is looking to hire a Senior Designer responsible for concept, design, and some production of Web pages, user interfaces, and advertising formats for broadband media products. Other projects may include Flash-enabled in-product messages for e-commerce products and services. This individual will also work closely with other art directors and other design team members to assure brand and style consistency. In addition, this person will present iterative design solutions and meet with internal clients to define and fully understand goals and requirements of projects, as well as concept and design Web pages, functional UI elements, and other e-communications, including Flash messages and/or advertising. Successful candidates will have extensive experience at an online design firm, interactive agency, e-commerce company, or online publishing company. Must excel at working collaboratively and be able to adapt to a fluid environment with ease. Preferably will have participated in delivering a complex or large-scale online product to market. Candidates should aspire to produce award-winning communications design of the highest caliber. A portfolio and list of pertinent URLs is required. In addition, this candidate must have experience working directly with clients, presenting concepts, receiving feedback, acting on that feedback, and presenting the final product. We are looking for strong design, typography, and layout skills. Must have strong Photoshop skills, proficiency in a drawing program such as Illustrator or Freehand. Must be highly skilled using Flash and SMIL. Current knowledge of dhtml, image optimization, and digital video and audio tools would also be extremely useful. Equivalent industry experience will be considered as an alternative for otherwise qualified candidates, and a 4-year degree or higher in Design is a definite plus.

Equivalent industry experience will be considered as an alternative for otherwise qualified candidates.Preferred: 4-year degree or higher in Design a definite plus. Experience:Minimum: Professional experience in online design for minimum of 2 years. Must have experience working directly with clients, presenting concepts, receiving feedback, acting on that feedback and presenting the final product.Preferred: Experience designing for e-commerce or high volume publishing a plus.
